My very used and well travelled Moog source has what sounds like
a ground hum does anyone reccomend any repair place in NYC

Yo might want to save some money first. If your (or a friend is) handy with a volt/ohm meter you might want to check the discreet diode recitfiers or FULL bridge recitfiers in the power supply circuit. It may be that one has opened or shorted and is causing a large ripple on the DC supply lines that eventually propagates to the audio output. This is a common thing.

Since it is well traveled, you might want to just take a peek inside and look to see if things have gone loose on you (CCA grounding, Ground LUGS, etc ...)

Did the hum build up slowly OR did it just start to happen suddenly?

It just Started happening when I tried to use it for a session
