I have 16 of them and I don't know why. A quick internet search doesn't show any obvious synth candidates. Anyone know of anything making use of this IC?[/left]

Oh! I just remembered you can make a phase shift oscillator out of it. The output waveforms are triangle/square. I found the schematic in an old Forest M. Mimms book. Here's a schem for it as well as a linear x10 amp which I think are taken straight from the book:

i like to use them for clipping an audio signal to the point i can FEED it into a 4046.


cant you use them as buffers too? i thought somebody on here had a CMOS oscillator that used those

(renee schmitz maybe?)
