Does anybody have this? I'm trying to make one and getting pretty close... 8 errors to go (theoretically) but if someone has already put this together it would make me very happy. Thanks! - Charlie

OK, ignore that, I figured out how the build system works.

Such a relief to have Cmd-Up / Cmd-Down go to the top/bottom of the document again instead of increasing the font size... that was driving me absolutely insane.

Nope, take it back. It would still be nice to have an XCode project if anyone has one.

Another nice element I just added to miniAudicle automatically uses the first line of code as the shred name if the document is untitled. This allows you to keep track of what shreds are what in the Virtual Machine monitor without actually having to save your files and go through the Cocoa save dialog, which is too slow for me when I'm live coding.

Much easier to Cmd+Up to the top (now that this doesn't change the font size) and add a comment that can be used for the name... or sometimes the first line of code is enough to identify it as is.

OK, I think this is the best solution for what I wanted to do. I added a "Add Shred With Name..." command to the ChucK menu. This launches a tiny pop-up window with a text field inside of it; the text field is focused so you can type immediately.

When you hit enter the shred is launched immediately with the name you typed. The pop-up window vanishes and the focus goes back to the document you were editing before you launched the new shred.

I bound it to the control-plus keystroke. It's all instant and seamless. I'm happy. I attached a simple pic showing the pop-up.
