I have tried using WvOut to record stereo from the web. (OK slightly naughty). To get this to work I have had to connect the adc to WvOut which seems counter intuitive. Any ideas

Also I have tried this on another computer and it doesn't record any sounds what ever I do (adc, dac and turning up the volumes). Again any ideas

kewl. This should go into the examples directories of the distribution.

Also, sometimes there is a file permissions problem in saving the WvOut output. Make sure you've specified the current directory in the preferences of miniAudicle.

The code is basically a copy of the rec-auto.ck which is in examples\basic

Just added in the left and right channels so that I can drop the two wav files into Audacity so that I can make one stereo wav file

The files that I get out are the right length in terms of time but contain no signal

Oh, i had that problem. It was because I wasn't terminating the recording the way that miniAudicle wanted me to do it. Now I just click on stop virtual machine when I want the recording to end. Not sure what will work best for you, i.e. you can't stop the virtual machine on windows...

had similar problem...

some of the examples from the wiki don't seem to work on windows... here is how I got it to work:

http://electro-music.com/forum/download.php?id=15921

just some modifications to rec-auto.ck

change the dac to adc, change to desired duration and it should work.

hope it helps.
