Have you got a really nice patch you'd like to share? Looking for a new patch? That is what this forum is all about. As people start placing patches there, we'll create sub-forums for each synthesizer or program. This is intended for patches for all synthesizers and programs. There are no restrictions.

To place a patch in the archive, simple post a new topic in the "Patch Archive" forum, or in the appropriate sub-forum if it exists, and use the "Add Attachment" feature to upload the patch file. Describe the patch, and even upload an mp3 file to let us know what it sounds like.

We hope this Patch Archive proves to be a valuable service for our electro-music.com community. Pleae give us feedback. Let us know how we can better organize or configure this feature.

ANother thing we can do is provide some pointers to patch archives that already exist elsewhere on the web.

Is there a limit on the filesizes?, I have some absynth patches that I could upload, but they use wav files so it would mean that the file size would be a few meg.....

anyway, its a really great idea.... i'll see what I have floating around on the hard disk...

There is a limit on the filesize. I think it is around 20 megs. We switched schemes recently to use an different file server in Scandinavia. I thought things were working but I'm having some problems. These problems may very well be related to the fact that I'm using a one-way cable modem. Fortunately, I'm upgrading and a new two-way is to be installed in about 9 days.

So, if you would be kind enough to be a beta tester, please try to upload the patches and let me know via PM or email if you run into any problems.

UPDATE: I found the problem with the attachment uploads. Seems to work pretty well, within the constraints of my uplink bandwidth. Each member has a 20 MB total limit on attachment uploads, but I can increase that if needed.

Great idea. I would like to share you with my Waldorf Micro Q patches, if anybody interested in.

Also for some virtual synths, like Reaktor (made 2 some synths on it), or Vaz Modular. Just ask.
