i knew it would be the most powerful thing in the box, and, yes, it most certainly is.

here's a simple thing i put together to make a control matrix. x slot 1-16 for all sequencers, y controls which sequencer 1-8 is referenced.

don't know quite how i'm gonna use it yet Wink i'd like to use it to make short, variable melodic cells. pseudo markov chain style, but with the added bonus of being able to override the probability controls and just drive the sequencers. let you know if i make any progress Rolling Eyes

edit: oh yeah and you could drive them with oscillators for dirty 2-d waves:D

any advice, as always, greatly appreciated.

i need to figure some things out before i dive into the more advanced stuff like rob's steppers, for instance.

edit: lol, and that monstrous beast that you just posted up, blue hell. dear god what the hell is going on there?

yes, and imagine the x and y values being fed from a sequencer or LFO or ??? let you imagination go wild...

in general, the verbal breakdowns of your patches help me a lot.

sometimes its hard to understand a singal flow without some "why"
