My Editor doesnt find the modular any more.

I get
MIDI Problems: Could not open port.

I tried with the midisport 4*4, M-audio delta 1010 LT and the m-audio fx410. Same problems on all Sad

Any suggestions ?

On windows XP I guess ?

If so, you could try to set the compatibility mode for the editor.

Right click on the icon or start-menu entry that you use to start the editor. Select properties from the pop-up menu and go to the compatibility tab. For most people setting the mode to win98 compatibility seems to work ok, others though had to use other modes.

Very Happy Glad it worked.

Don't know what you changed, but since I installed SP2 I had to use compatibity mode (for the good old midi man 2x2 thingy, but now for my new edirol um-3ex midi interface I have to use it as well).

I'm starting to see this occasionally too, but only after I installed Midiyoke.
When it happens, I have to launch Midiox, close the Midi ports (even though MidiOx wasn't running at the time the editor couldn't find the NM1), then it's ok.

This happened several times.
I wonder if the midi drivers for the Midiman 2*2 have some intermittent problems.
