Any of you use Waldorf products ?
The announcement of their Nano SunCard for the CME midi controllers sounds very tempting but no info from Waldorf yet.

I´ve recently had the studio full of some old Waldorf gear. If you consider the fact that I am one of the few out there who actually purchased PPG gear ( when it was brand new ( and yes we are also talking about the Waveterm ), then you are already guessing I´m a big fan. I had to return the Waldorf instruments, but I have already put a few items on the wishlist for XMAS.

I´m not sure what that Nano thingie really does. It just might be a kind of Waldorf flavored Soundcanvas style polkamodule. It is supposedly inexpensive, and I´m sure even lot of typical Waldorf preset sounds from the more upmarket gear wil do prove useful. I don´t think you should consider the Nano thingie to be a full Waldorf synth. It seems to be a soundengine with presets ( and controls allowing some tweaks .. but not much ).

Well, thanks for the "heads up" ... it did sound too good to be true.
Their rack mount Micro Q looks much more inviting.
Ever see one ?
Very impressive features..stereo outputs, ring mod, arpeggiator, 25-band vocoder !!! Oh, brother... Hope it doesn't have to be accessed from a computer screen. I have yet to purchase a computer !
