Welcome, Dtannhei.
I listened to your tracks. Very nice. I like them. Nice interesting rhythms and good contasting material.
What do you use to make the beat tracks, like on approximate approximations, for example? |

hey mosc, i think that what i do might be different than most but it is just what i learned and somewhat mastered(maybe). i actually use a number of different machines/programs. i typically set my beats using drum amchines, software or a little bit of both. i then set my songs up in a wav editor like goldwave or any other editing program (i have found that some do some things well as others do different things well). the editing program is where most of my work is done. |

Everybody works a little differently. I like the IDM beats and I've been trying to make them with my new Nord G2. I'd like to do those IDM-like beats live, in the background while I do other things too. I still have a long way to go. I've been very anti-beat for more years than you'd believe because beats were usually boring. Nowadays, the beats you and others are doing are much more interesting, and I'm inspired. |

mosc- oh thanks, that was really nice feedback. i have found (in my own personal taste) that with beats- more is better in regards to programming. i write much of my music so that there are not many repeating measures(if any at all). if you work with wav editors in music you can go in and look at each individual measure and alter with delays, glitches or whatever. glad yo ulike my work and if yo uhave any questions just get in touch -dan |
