Hello!

I have one question left before I start my Sound Lab!

In the introduction, it is said:
"With the 1V/Oct mod you will get a couple (maybe three) octaves of in tune scale"
But which are the two octaves (frequency) ?

Thank you for your help

Maxime

It's a relative thing.
Hypothetically, say you put 2V into the CV in and get a certain note, middle C. Then, when you put in 4V (+2V should be 2 octaves up) you get the C two octaves above, correct to 10%.
It means that for a distance of 2 Octaves (or 2V) the VCO correctly tracks and produces twice the frequency per Volt on the CV. The C note itself might be fine tuned to another note, or you might start at 0 volt. The point is that 2 volts up will be 4 times the frequency. If you started at 0 Volt, you might find that at the 4 Volt mark it was out by a whole semitone.
