hello there..
i've had my nord lead 2 now for almost 8 years...
it's seen a lot of use (and abuse)...

unfortunately, a couple of keys have died out and i'm wondering if it's possible to get them fixed (relatively cheaply)?

would such repairs be possible myself, or would i need to find a full on licenced dealer/technician to help me out.

any such specialists located in Estonia? or should i consider visiting Sweden seeing as i'm fairly close (and due for another visit anyways).

any advice or direction would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance

A couple of keys at the same time ? If so maybe check the keyboard cables in the synth. Otherwise I'd try to replace the keyboard, or have it replaced.

In the past I had some trouble with an NM keyboard and tried to repair it by taking the keyboard apart and cleaning the contacts - quite a job. Such only worked for weeks or months and then the trouble would come back. Not reccomneded.

I'm sorry I wouldn't really know, you could try to contact Clavia, or the company you bought the synth from (if any) or alternatively open up the synth to see if there is a brand on the keyboard and try it that way.

welcome BTW Very Happy

Clavia is unreachable for the next two months (development and holidays).
The keyboard is a Fatar TP/7 49 unweighted keys with dynamic bubble contacts.
Mostly the keys are seperated to find in any good repairshop.
Be sure to ask for a D key and not a B (H in Germany Wink

Wout
who's still sorry he can't use a Fatar TP/63LW keyboard in the NordLead Smile
