BTW, it was very funny when Rob announced this. He said something like, "I'm sure Howard can use the money for something he needs, like better memory." Laughing

Very Happy In my memory I clearly said 'doubling of memory', but perhaps I need better memory as well...

"Doubling memory"? Maybe I misunderstood.

Anyway, here are my pics, such as they are: http://electro-music.com/forum/gallery2.php/v/chateau_sonore/mosc/

Argh! The Stroopwafel Man! Was that in Haarlem? I couldn't find anything like that when I visited Amsterdam in Nov. Closest thing was a bakery. But making it right in front of you! Shocked

It's good to see fellow e-m.com'ers in their native habitats!

Yes, in the central square of Haarlem. You could smell them for blocks. As you walk from the central train station the aroma gets stronger and stronger.

Next to the Stroopwafel man was a seafood stand - fried mussels, smoked fish, herring - wow.

Haarlem is a very nice town to visit.

I am digging everybody's pics!

So great to meet everyone -- see old friends and make new ones.

Thanks to ALL for an unforgettable experience, and here's to many more. I firmly believe that outrageous sh*t like gathering folks from 13(?) countries into a romantic chateau to make crazy electronic music is what makes the world go 'round -- regardless of what they told you in physics.

wow, I just had a moment of serendipity / recollection ... the 2007 event was an unforgettable experience... not just related to modular synths, either red ones or other wise ... just at a different level, I suppose...

how is that about a bump of the topic Smile

3 years already? My son is already 7 and now I have also a daughter. We had a great time and sometimes we remember how much fun we had there. Every minute was worth being there.

Regards to you all!

Wouldn't it be nice to do something like that again in Europe?
