Hi everyone, I'm a new member of the forum. My 'analog' name is Paul, I'm a micro-owner, an almost-G2-engine owner and try to be a scientist in everyday life.

As a bass-player, I already use my MM for weird audio processing, next to all kinds of electro-experiments. Now the good news is that I could convince my wife that my life would be useless without a G2, so I'm getting one (hopefully within a few days)!!! Razz

Are there any fellow bassplayers or other monophonic instrument players out here that have experimented with the pitch tracking modules yet? If not, I hope to find out within a week or two and let y'all know. Can't wait for the new red box *drool, drool*

Hi Fozzie!

welcome to the board.

I haven't really had time to check to pitchtracking module or do some experiments with it, but maybe some other members on this board have...

Hi, Fozzie, welecome to electro-music.com.. welcome

Yes, I've had some experience using the G2 to track a bass. A friend brought his bass over shortly after I got my G2. It works amazingly well. The pitch follower module is excellent. Of course you have to set up an envelope follower to act as a squech, but all that is pretty easy to do and easy to adjust.

20 years ago I did something like that for a different instrument: an Elka Synthex.
Now we know better: each one of us has his/her own money Very Happy
