What exactly do you want (NL1, NL2, NL2X or NL3)?
What are you going to do with these samples?

First of all welcome gore.m!

Has the DiscoDSP Discovery-Pro the ability to load single wave forms? Do you have a purchased a legal copy of it Wink ?

I will help you, although I canĀ“t figure out how this will help you... Surely the Discovery-Pro works with algorithms, like for a Puls wave form and how would you like to modulate pulse width, special to the NordLead?

Have you been to the electro-music.com archive about the NL sysex yet?

Maybe there will be a special Discovery forum over here once.

Thanks you !
In D.Pro you can use "waveform oscilator" http://www.discodsp.com/discoverypro/details/

You can use demo .. best way how make decision if you like it - if you will buy it ...
http://www.discodsp.com/download/?id=10

I know DiscoveryPRO doesnt use wavs instead of OSCs , but if you use "waveform oscilator" sound is fuller and closer to HW .. so I thought I want try to use original waveforms what happens .
... of course first I tried Discovery forum , but this is wrong way because who has NL - that dont want Discovery - respectively .

I don't use VST(i) Smile

At
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/021_Patches/
you'll find the sysex of the NordLead2 and NordLead2X.

DiscoDSP offered me their product, even the Pro version, but as I wrote... I don't use VST(i)

BTW I'll make the files some weeks from now, so please, be patient Smile

First thanks you once more for your time .

I have to say it doesnt work how I thought it will works .
It is not so big change from modeled OSCs by DiscoDSP , The most different from Discovery oscs is Pulse_99% .
Waves give to sound little bit of punch , but it is not so dramatic change as when you use waves from factory library and of course there is not possibilities use waves instead of oscs ...

My result is I still have to think about it little while because there is coming Nord Wave .

So the result is also DiscoDSP-DiscoveryPro isn't a NordLead2, although they have a lot incommon! And the Nord Wave is also a completely different machine Smile

I know . Im looking for any Clavia product a long time ago .

I have train of thoughts ... My friend offered me NL1 ... than I thought about NL2 ... so why not Discovery in very nice price > but it is not available for MAC OS and will it sound with waves like "real think" ? > hmmm why not Nord Wave , which should include all of NL range ( am I right ?) and a lot more .

No, you are not right! In a way it's more 'something completely different'! It isn't the synth which replaces them all, just different.

I read it include all from previous models and more and it is basically NL3 replacement , but not in general .
I have to explore it more . Crying or Very sad

I think Clavia meant the Nord Wave will replace the NordLead3 when it is gone out of their products offer. It will not have the same features as the NordLead3 with some more. Surely no dual filter.
It's the start of a complete new line in their concept. Looking at dDrum, Electro2 and NordStage sampling is a technique well known to Clavia. It will be more a NordLead2, in which one oscillator has the ability to use samples and wave tables and a FX part at its tail, like the Stages.
