International travel with a Micro Modular |
|
|
Has anyone carried their Micro in their carry-on baggage on an international flight?
I may be going on a trip soon, and want to take the Micro, but don't want to chance it being lost if my checked-in baggage is sent to the wrong destination. With the exception of a recent trip, the airlines haven't lost my luggage for over 20 years, but it's been happening more and more.
If carrying Micro onboard risks having it confiscated, then I will put it in my checked-in baggage. |

A couple of years ago I traveled to and from the US with two G2 engines as carry on baggage, the US entry guards were very curious about what it was but when I explained they accepted me as the good kind of nuthead

When I went to Chateau Sonore, last summer, I carried onboard a laptop, a master keyboard, external HD and few other electronic things but no one bothered to ask me anything about it. We are considered harmless, I guess.

It flew about 15 meters on its own. Only the rotary dial was completely broken. (And the Micro has have any

Yes
Both our MM's went to Poland and Russia, on many planes (mine went too for back-up although it was never used). _________________ ACHTUNG!

Hmm, yes, that's a bit of an unfortunate side effect of the formulation I used ... _________________ Jan
