I want to create this thread to document and track drive progress and to look ahead to solutions that will be coming down the pipe.

IDE/SATA/SCSI/LVD/Firewire/USB and all others including flash drives
(and those things in planet of the apes too that the videos are recorded on to, those have got to be coming out any day now!)

Not sure if we need another thread on RAIDs as that is important here too, though also warrants its own discussion.

This can be a resource for those that have special needs for data throughput, that is the intended goal here. Especially with more multi-media being done whether its audio, video or combos.

More to come (hopefully) in the New Year.......
