no, I think it will be available next fall and I have Melodyne Uno (the monophonic version) so I think there will not be an upgrade to Direct Access unless I want to move to the bigger packages but anyway...this technology looks scary Cool

Another use would be to convert polyphonic sound to multiple midi channels but it all sounds a bit unreal to me, was it posted for 1st April Smile

A: Yes. Once the notes have been detected in this way, MIDI export of the audio file with a view to printing out the notes is naturally one option; outputting the MIDI data of a previously detected file in real time (audio-to-MIDI) is another.

Now if they could do this in realtime with little latency......
