At last some time spent with the G2. And made this patch.

It is a big stereo synth (2 x 4 osc) with cross feedback between the channels. In the feedback there is a delay that is enveloped, so there are buildups of feedback that shut down again under the envelope control. It gives it a spacial sound but not of the standard kind. When voices are stolen the signal that is still present in the delays leaks through the new voice, so you can't play too clashing notes after each other, all depending on the specific variation. But sometimes this is a rather nice effect. I like it.
