I stuffed dozens of his boards a while back for someone else, but currently have two tube VCAs that I cannot get to work for some reason. I must have repeated a mistake on both boards, although I followed the layout photo. No sound at all unless I touch the 072's traces. Power connections and amounts are correct.

Edit: Corrected through the installation of the "Second Choice" tubes. Huzzah!

You are a Stone madman, Allison Project!

IIRC, my first ever module was the Wave Multiplier - I've got bunches of Stone, built and un-built. But, that Wave Multiplier hardly ever goes unused in a patch. Holy Mackeral, I love that thing!

I'd be interested to see what you did with the Dome Filter.

frequency shifter - the panel is set up to be patched as I like, or use each section as a stand-alone module - it also has 6 ring mods (4 - 1496 based, 2 passive), 2 quad oscillators, a CGS VCO and the rest from Electronotes.
to be honest, I have never got around to tuning it properly, it makes plenty of weird noises as is. One day i will sit down with some set-up instructions and a 'scope to sort it.

It is one project I would like to re-do sometime - requiring more Dome filter PCBs. If enough people are keen, we might be able to convince Ken to do another run.
You would also need Electronotes to see the schematic - it is in the Preferred Circuits collection ( ~$30 or so ).

Very Impressive. Andrew I just realized who you are, I have spent alot of time drooling at the pics on your webpage. When I first started building CGS stuff I would look all the time to what panel components you were using etc etc (well trying, that crazy artwork can be hard to read).
