I'd love to see one of these kinds of controllers in a local shop so I could try it out. I can help thinking that it looks a bit awkward to play, especially with long fingernails. Won't you hit more than the key you're aiming for every now and then?

I thought this design was *meant* to be used by hitting multiple keys at a time? I kinda like it, it seems similar to a harmonica's bass-section. I don't think you can play those with long finger-nails either but that's not really a major concern to me. :¬) _________________ Modern technology offers an endless field day to any deviant strains in our personalities. --J.G.Ballard |

Yeah, my concerns are probably not that relevant Like I said, it would be really interesting to try one of these out without having to commit the money.

A software demo? Like the one for the G-2?
It won´t be too hard to click any of those buttons with a mouse. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Nah, I was thinking more in the lines of using our new-founded wiretapping laws to snoop out someone who buys one of these controllers, then sneak into that person's house and steal the thing.

| Is this for people who can't play piano? I don't think it has any advantages over the good ol' piano keyboard. |

it is isomorphic, meaning that any major, minor or whatever scale you play in any key uses always the same fingering not like the piano where every major scale (for example) uses a different fingering. in this respect this one is a much more intelligent layout of keys. _________________ homepage - forum - myspace - virb - berkleemusic

I must admit I would like one, as a guitar player I have never got on with keyboards.
I had a look at the website and the 64 key one is £850, far too expensive! |
