Pure Shepherd. One parent was white and the other dark, and it was a fairly big litter (seven or eight) of mostly white or dark, but there were two of these mid color, this one and her brother. She's our second Shepherd and also our second runt-of-the-litter (our first runt was a Husky 33 years ago, right after we were wed), and she's currently a royal pain in our aging beagle's butt. But, I think on some level, the beagle loves it. Her buddy the pug and her other buddy the duck both died this summer (cancer and extreme old age respectively), so as soon as she figures out how to socialize with a pup again (the pug was the first), she'll be in good shape.

The pup is keeping my wife happily busy, now that the kids are both out west. House trained with almost no effort, but regular sleeping pattern is still a bit of a problem. (Not for me Razz )

This 1.5 Mbyte image taken from 423 miles above the Earth, story here, is not my photo, but when one's office is dead square in the center of the first shot from the highest resolution commecial imaging satellite, one is inspired to post here. The street running top to bottom is Main Street in Kutztown, PA, actually running NE to SW, and the white dot in the center is the bell tower of Old Main at Kutztown University, with my office on the second floor just SW (beneath) that bell tower.

It's amazing how far you can zoom into this image before it begins to break up.

hey stefan,

Very Happy the egg slicer is played like a mini harp, the toy piano acts as resonance body. the sound is picked up with a contact mic and then amplified.

(content of bottle went into player Wink )

cheers

These are from a few days ago in the back yard, thanks to my wife Linda. This puts Frida (a.k.a. "Wubba" a.k.a. "Joe Biten") at about 21 weeks. We have rousing soccer/hockey games now with plastic orange juice jugs on the ice, with me kicking and she shoving with her nose as hard and fast as she can across the icy back yard. Good autumn dog, and an excellent winter dog as well, although, my arm is in chronic pain from throwing Frisbee and balls and falling on the ice.

Thanks for asking, and, Merry Christmas!

For some reason it's all about christmas eve here - today is hangover day.

I think we share that particular yummy food with Norway, though I should admit that not an overwhelming amount of people enjoy lutfisk in Sweden (but I do - with mustard sauce Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.). Anyway, it's the one remaining kind of food that AFAIK is very much attached to christmas.

My next door neighbors are from Mexico. On Christmas Eve they brought us a plate of Tamales and a mug of Atole ( a sweet milk drink) it was wonderful! I quick put together a platter of cookies my wife had baked and took them over.
