Hello,
just changing computers and so the leopard question comes along...

after having read about many incompatibilitys and problems i wonder if ther are advatages for the musican or just trouble?

what is the best system on a standard macbook with 2,16 ghz?

Well I have not had many problems with Leopard and I really like it a lot.

Spaces and Time Machine work very well.

When Leopard first came out there where a few things that didn't work correctly, a lot of my NI stuff didn't work well but patches have sorted everything out.
