Hey, My name is Chris. I just recently joined the forum and was wondering if anybody here knew where I could by some Cliff K1 Knobs for cheap. They are the exact ones used on the Electronic Music Studios VCS 3 and Synthi A, Synthi 100, etc. (Most of the EMS Range).
Cheers
Chris

Not that I know, just wanted to say welcome , but hope someone else knows ... and there is some discussion on knobs/replicas at times in the DIY section here ... don't remember EMS knobs though.

Are you building something or restoring?

Ah I see, heard some nice stuff from WSGs, hope you'll find the knobs.

Hi Chris

While this is not a direct link for knobs for your synthi, is is a bunch of synthi resources which may help you to find what you want.

@jojoman, thanks for that link at the bottom, it led to an amazing video of two guys in the BBC storeroom playing Dalek through a VCS3, and banging on a lamp (one of Delia's favourite inter-planetary sound effects for Dr.Who). SO GOOD!!!!!!!!
