I made a sort of interesting music visualizer in ChucK. It has an array of LEDs with a trail of blue ones lit up, dancing to the music. The horizontal axis shows the RMS value of the low frequencies and the vertical axis shows the RMS value of the high frequencies.

It is interesting to watch how different songs display on the visualizer. We Will Rock You by Queen has bursts of sound separated by near silence, so the cloud of blue dots really jumps around, while other songs have the dots gently drifting from place to place.

Note that I have this set up for an audio router to pipe into ChucK, so that the audio is sent out to the dac for listening. If you don't have an audio router, just turn the volume down to zero to prevent feedback from your speakers to your microphone.

More zany ChucK fun. What can I say, I was bored.

Unfortunately the MAUI tools are available only on the Mac version. Thanks, though. I *really* wish we had cross-platform MAUI.
