Server problems Oct 4-5 are fixed... |
|
|
We had a rather serious server problem on October 4 thru 5 caused by a supid site administrator. There was some data base corruption and people weren't able to log in to the forum. That have been fixed now and you should be able to log back on. I'm very sorry for the inconvience this may have caused.
We would fire our site admin, but there would be no body left. We originally cut his pay by 50% to teach him a lesson, but then we changed our mind and doubled it instead as a reward for having fixed the problem.
Thanks to those who sent me email to let me know what was happening.
Sorry for the inconvience.

For me to 'new posts' was reset, but there wasn't very much posted I think anyway, at least not in the Clavia forum :-)
Thanks Howard.

The last login was lost. This is kept in a cookie. Nothing in the Database was lost.
Use the link from the Forum Index to view post on the last week. The orange tags won't be there, but seeing things presented in a time sorted list is convenient. _________________ --Howard

I didn't hardly notice anything at all, in fact nothing at all. I think yer doing a great job, and you should probably be told more often.
