Good to hear!
If you're in Canada, and you got your stuff at Long & McQuade's, they're usually really good about going out of their way to make sure the customer is taken care of.
How you liking your Stage? |

I ended up getting mine at LA Music (best price I could find and I saved a bit on the out of province tax) There is Long & McQUADE here in N.B. but they didn't carry Nord in stock at the time. Anyway I'm lovin my Stage. The acoustic pianos are a bit weak and don't bite as much as my old Korg SgPro x (which I ended up keeping) |

Yeah man, LA Music is cool too. Sometimes those smaller guys are a good way to get some deals for sure!
I found that the Yamaha Stage Grand (22MB) and the Studio Grand XL (62 ish MB) are the best pianos on offer. I find the smaller one actually cuts a bit better. Also, try using different velocity response settings (shift + instrument type). I found using a setting of 1 or 2 instead of the default made a big difference. And also, using the Mono button can help too.
Hope you're staying warm out in NB. I was there 2 years ago on tour, and it was INSANELY cold. |

I got the classic model. The Ex was about $600.00 more(too much for me) Thanx for the tip on the velocity setting(does make a difference) I have the same pianos loaded as you do
As for the weather, thing haven't changed since you been here, I,ve got about 4 feet of snow in my backyard and there's another load on the way.Aghhhh can't wait for spring |

Yeah, I have a NS Compact Rev. C. It was about a grand cheaper than the EX, and I didn't see myself needing the extra memory for all those harpsichord sounds.
I was in St. John while on tour, and it was -28 without the wind chill. That ain't even right.... |
