Hello everyone.

This is my first Java external for Max/MSP.
It's my represention of the classical mathematical game "Life", which "emulates" alive cells activity. I think this is funny thing.
To install this external - look in the readme in the archive.
Any thoughts?

I never did downloaded your zip, I guess I wanted to save it for a rainy day... (the second heatwave in two weeks qualifies)

So I just spend at least 10 minutes of observing your .help file..

I want to try and make some music with it, is it ok if I use your patch as a starting point? I'll keep you up to date and you and John have already got the credit, because it's mindblowing. Most inspiring thing I've seen in days, great!!

Solid interpretation, but your math to evaluate each living or dead cell with the classic rules of Conway's game of life is wrong - if you click on random and continue generations, instead of stabilizing, there is EXPLOSIVE growth Smile

The correct Conway implementation in your bang object is as follows:

(currently the code BB isn't working for the text, so it's located here.

Great patch!
