Hi Afro, Howard (Howard, drums,.....you?). Thnx! I did an extension on the NewsCool. Now you can reset the lfo(take care when changing INT Clock rate, change lfo rates(so the 1 in the fx section) aswell and change direction of clock lfo. Did some tweaks, so these will sound very different. Last edited by Roland Kuit on Fri Apr 26, 2013 9:48 am; edited 1 time in total |

Everyone, excuse the slightly OT post.
Roland, I was playing with this patch and Juli came in and said, "what's that? I like it." I told her it was your patch and she said to be sure to give you a warm hello. _________________ --Howard

I didn't have much time to play around with it last night, but I just created some fantastic patterns and sounds this morning. I really like the way your sequencer works. I'm not sure how it works, but I think that's what I love about it. You change paramters and the pattern changes in interesting, musical and unexpected ways. This isn't the same as the Reaktor NewsCool that I used, but IMHO it's much better . This is awesome Roland!
edit: oh, and play around with the lfo people! Just turned the rate really low and I'm getting some really crazy fx! |

I'm not familiar with the Reaktor instrument that this was based on, but it is a very neat patch regardless. |

Thanks guy's. And Howard, please give my greetings to Juli. IT was my intention(at first) to recreate the Reaktor pch. But with the possibility's you can do some more:)Like the bi-directional env modulation etc. I missed one thing though, and i'm working at it, but i have still problems with patchload limmitations. But i just came home by train, and did some solutions, i've to try them out first. And Afro, please share your tweaks with me/us:))))))) |

Thanx for the nice tweaks Afro! Here's my final version.
Some explanation:
> is incomming FM or RM modulation
<is outgoing FM or RM modulation
Instead of the mux switches for FM and RM, i make use of a mixer.
Now its possible to get Fm/RM mod from the four sinewave osc's. at the same time.
Listen what P delay(is pitch) and A delay(is Amplitude) can do to
change the sound. I created patternstuff as well. This will affect the resetter if the knob is turned to the left. In the FX area is is used for panning and modulating the feedback of the delay module, and in reverse, the reverb Wet/Dry. Have fun with it. Dutch Party Greetz |
