Hey all,

Just got my Andy yesterday. Sat there all last night tinkering around with sounds etc and loved it.
Today time for more serious use and so I attempt to get a multitimbral set out of it. Been on hours and its driving me mad. Probs something really obvious I'm missing out on.

I worked out how to get two separate sounds onto separate channels IE one on midi ch 1 and the other on 2 and so on to 16. I have got it so each mix relates to the same midi channel for simplicity.

But no matter what I do about 5 sound play at one.

If I enter Global mode and hit soft key 8 voxnom this shows midi channels 1, 2, 4. 5. 6. 7. and 8 are being triggered from a single key press?? But I set all the channels so each voice has a different midi channel??

I haven't even loaded up my DAW yet so this shouldn't be the problem.

Quite baffled, any ideas?

don't give up, took me a year to get a bit of the ins and outs o f the a6. steep learning curve indeed.
so guess i would first start with a single patch and read the tips and tricks once ( and the manual twice)
guess the problem is the assigning of the midichannel in the different parts. when in mix mode chance the different patches your edidting with the softbuttons underneed , and go to ( if i'm correct ?) keyboard to set the different midichannel.
there is also a solomode.

Yeah, I'd check your multi configuration. And also the configuration of whatever you are using to drive input into the A6 -- it could be set to omni accidentally or something.
