Electro-Harmonix-Reverb Tricks/Cathedral Clip

Hi everybody,

Effectology Vol. 7:

Reverb Tricks

-- or --

Reverb in All the Wrong Places

This episode of Effectology demonstrates some old and new effects using reverb.

Each one of the four sounds in this video has the reverb positioned in unusual places within the signal chain…proof once again there is no correct way to order your effect pedals.

There is a clip of the new Cathedral Stereo reverb using the brilliant "Infinite" switch.
Its really a beautiful sounding reverb.

The video is here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAiUMx1Dsm4

The settings for the pedals can be found here:
http://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/1812/

As always if you do not have the pedals in this video, please experiment with similar ones you do have.
Thanks for listening!

Bill Ruppert

Ah, one of my favourite rules: Once you know the rules, BREAK THEM! Very Happy

Wow, I never thought of using reverb that way! I'd always adhered to the orthodox thinking of putting reverb last in the signal chain.

Thanks for the inspirational post, Bill!

Hey all,
The video had a weird audio sync problem for the first 1:44 seconds.
Not sure what happened but I corrected the link above.
Sorry for the problem!
