Diddling about with PD lately, mostly for my own familiarity... quick question... I'm really used to the EnvGen unit in SuperCollider for breakpoint envelopes. It seems in pd or max you have to roll your own envelopes using line~ and feeding it new endpoints at the right time.

Just wondering if anyone had built an external to simplify this. I saw pd's aenv~ for adsr but EnvGen does much more than that.

Thanks.

I don't know about the pd implementation, but Max's line~ will take a list of points, so all you have to do is send the list once in response to a trigger event.

Max also has adsr~ for simple envelopes.

Ah, nice - I see pd's vline~ is similar. That makes it much easier.

Thanks.
