Found the Rebote Delay from Tonepad.
Was wondering if this can be used in a lunetta?

Is there any special considerations to make?
Like should I pass the out from my Lunetta thru a mixer first?
Or can I just do Lunetta>>Delay>>amp>>speaker?

Or is the Rebote Delay strictly for guitars?
Any advice would be appreciated.

It should be fine. Go ahead and connect it lunetta --> delay --> whatever else. Make sure you start with the volume low though, don't wanna blow anything out.

Fantastic!
thanks

I got the Rebote on bread board right now, but I couldn't get it to work.
I probably got some things connected wrong, always happens the fist
time I bread board anything so it's kinda expected.

However I didn't exactly have the right parts so I had to do some
substitution.
For example the schematic calls for 2k4 resistors, I don't have any
so I used 2k2 instead.
Also it calls for 0.082uF caps which also I don't have, they're in the mail,
so I used 0.047 i think, might have been 0.022uF, anyway how critical are these?

Could be why it didn't work.
Just curious.

2k2 are 200 ohm resistors, while 2k4 are 20k ohm resistors - big difference. Can you post a schematic? If your device accepts guitar inputs, those are very low signal compared to a Lunetta...

2k2 is notation for 2.2 k and 2k4 for 2.4 k - its a popular way in europe to notate values ... like 2e2 for 2.2 Ohm and 2n2 for 2200 pF etc.

Edit : likewise I would never notate a value like 0.068 uF but would always use 68n - always avoiding zeros and dots where possible - saves a lot of confusion especially as in some countries the function of dot and comma are exchanged and a dot is not always very readable anyway.

Personally, I think this;

http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=122

would be a better build! Cool

Here is the schematic i'm using:
http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=33

There are different versions of this circuit, 2 and 2.5.
I'm using this one cause I have most of the parts with the correct values.
With the exception of the ones I named above.

That digital one looks interesting v-un-v.
But I don't have most of those parts, namely the FV-1 chip,
besides it uses smd parts, although it looks like it only uses one,
I'll have to take a second look at the schematic.
I'd never tried soldering smd and really don't want to.

You can use 100n (0.1uF) capacitors instead of the 0.082uFs with no noticeable difference.

I built the tonepad PT2399 delay a long time ago. It's really cool because if you mess with one resistor you can get the "never ending repeats", and if you use a higher valued pot for delay time you can get seriously long, but also seriously LOFI delays.

You may want to build yourself, but...

I have a DOD DFX9 digital delay. It has a separate RAM memory. The data in/outputs , read/write signals and adress lines work nicely as oscillation, some with rhythms and melody, and pitchable with the delaytime knob. Sending oscillations into the address lines does weird and wonderfull things.

Could someone recommend a schematic for a digital delay with separate RAM? Or other digital delays suitible for modding?

Oh and has anyone experience on clocking a delay with an external clock? That would greatly add to the Lunetta experience I imagine.

Not getting any delay.

I'm feeding a single oscillator from a 40106 to the Rebote Delay, but I'm getting
a steady signal with out any echo/delay.
I've gone over the wiring dozens of times but it seems ok.

The only thing I've done differently is I replaced the 2n5457 transistor with an mpf102.
I was getting nothing with the 2n5457 and read somewhere you should replace it with
a mpf102, diystompboxes forum I think it was that mentioned this.

Also instead of a trimpot I used a 10k resistor from pin 6 to the 50k pot, also tried an 15k
with same result. This was also mentioned on the diystompbox forum.

I'm using the first version of the Rebote Delay schematic.
I just don't have the parts available for the other versions, yet.

Why the heck am I getting a steady signal?
