If I want to use an envelope to control a filter sweep, how do I get it to start from the beginning of the envelope each time I hit a new note, even if there is still "time left to run".
Silly question, I know, but I just can't fathom it. The "N" or "R" setting on the envelope doesn't seem to do much. Neither does connecting a logic signal from Keyboard module Gate output to Env Trig input solve the issue. Each time I press a new note, the envelope picks up from where it left off. This is most annoying if you want each note to begin a new filter sweep.
Thanks
Angus

Hmmm. The R setting does this for me. I'm using a beta test version though. I think you have to be in mono mode. In poly mode you'll just start new notes with every key press.

I think I see what the problem is - I have been using envelopes with a trig input. These envelopes seem to complete their full cycle before resetting, even if you set the button to R or send it a new trig signal.
If I use an env with a gate input, it works ok.
Why is it you always self-diagnose straight after putting your question to the forum??
Confused

Ah, the old trigger input problem. Laughing

Special software does that. You get the answer before anyone posts a response - even when the responses don't answer the question. Laughing
