Subject description: cannot figure out how to use the "external" section on Stage to control the R3

Hi

I have read the Nord Stage manual and the Korg R3 manual. But I cannot figure out how to manage the R3 trough the external section on the Nord.

I have chosen the same midi channel on both the machines. When I have the "external" section active on the Nord, no sound comes from the Korg. But the sounds is there when I have the "Piano" section active on the Nord.

Solution, anyone?

Thanks in advance.

P

You said that you have choose the same midi channel, but maybe not at the good place. You have to choose the same channel in the "EXTERNAL SECTION" (shift and push the 4th button).

If it work with the piano section active, it's because your Korg is using the same midi channel than the piano section (each section control a channel, for the Panel A and the Panel B).

I'm french, so , sorry for the grammatical mistakes.
