The grande finale? Rather the last orders for episode 100 with volume 4. Starting off very quiet but turning the volume on for before the end. But the end only is the start to year 3 of syndae. Enjoy an evening with Craig Padilla, Markus Reuter & Robert Rich, Marsen Jules, Neoklast, and Somnarium.

The fantastic fourth at: http://www.syndae.de/episodes/272-episode-100v4

Yours, Stefan

120 freebees and many visiting artists, things to expect when going to the Electronic Circus festival in Bielefeld on September 25th. A nice chance to meet and greet and have funny or deep chats with fans, artists, and labels face to face, sound to sound. The freebee comes from the DIN label: Conundrum by Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock and Bernhard Wöstheinrich. And more music by artists, who will be in the Movie at the festival: Computerchemist, Intelligentsia, Matzumi, and Picture Palace music.

Big festivals to come in Autumn, more visiting artists of the Electronic Circus, some first ideas on what the Ricochet Gathering might sound like, and fresh brand new releases. Enough stuff to put into two volumes, so this is volume 1 of episode 102 giving you jaunty insights into the music by AntiMatterMan, Arcane, Glenn Henriksen, Ideation, and Intelligentsia.

Great choice to stay with me tonight on volume 2 of episode 102, having only three tracks to do a long play show tonight. Amazing audible pictures by masters of synth. Enjoy tonight: Crystal Dreams, Spyra & Chris Lang, and Steve Gane.

Another two volume episode to please you all. Tomorrow, we dive into the depth of the deepest ambient music. But for tonight, there's more festival music on the show, making you hungry for E-Live 2010 and the Ricochet Gathering. You can barely get more electronic music these days, which of we have a very tiny selection with tracks by AirSculpture, EL-KA, Polaris, Sunya Beat, and the "Muflon Sorcerers" a.k.a. Paul Lawler, Dave Brewer, Conrad Gibbons and Yarek.

Diving deep into ambient on tonight's volume 2 of episode 103. Give your body a rest and inhale the dark and often unusual atmospheres of the tracks by Craig Vear, Creosote, Human Metronome, Nadim Haque, and Rudy Adrian.

Going to catch up with one of the biggest German EM events coming up in about two weeks: the Ricochet Gathering. Four days of electronic music starting around noon and ending late at night each day, having improvisation sessions as well as regular concerts and, moreover, featuring a press session with Johannes Schmoelling and Jerome Froese on Saturday. Sounds like a real feast, and what's more to know about the Gathering and the man behind you will get to know on tonight's special, featuring an interview with Vic Rek of Ricochet Dream, including some musical excerpts by Paul Lawler, Jerome Froese, and from the 2003 edition of the Gathering. And don't miss volume 2, having more music by artists playing live in Berlin at the Ricochet Gathering.

Time draws near the Ricochet Gathering, only two weeks before an early electronic christmas in Berlin. And here comes even more music of participating artists. On tonight's show, enjoy marvellous and fascinating tracks by Akasha Project, B. Ashra, Daniel Bloom, Krzysztof Horn, and an exclusive audio excerpt by Remy.

Being busy with lots of festivals on electronic music, here come some fine tracks to slow down life. Peaceful, easing music by Deborah Martin, Feedback, jujigen, pulsn, Walter Roos, and including my guess to the anniversary album competition of Ian Boddy.

Halloween. Time of ghosts and horror. Tonight's episode gives you a trick-or-treat feeling, spine-chilling up to your naked bones. I'll keep quiet to not spoil the atmosphere, so I hope you'll enjoy my selection of dark and spooky tracks by Annode, Bluejooz, Innfallen, Karsten Hamre, and the Secret Druid Society, plus a slight calming finale by Gastón Arévalo.

We're pulling the strings tonight with an interview featuring rock/electronic music crossover artist maxxess. Take a listen to a rather progressive kind of sound combining the dynamic and deeply emotional electric guitar play with the unique and versatile possibilities of synthetic waves. Enjoy the music and insights given by tonight's guest, Max Schiefele. And, if you'd like to see him on stage, check out for his upcoming gig together with Pyramid Peak on November 13.

Gentle fingers dancing on the keys tonight. Having yet another interview special on syndae, this time with EM grande Bernd Kistenmacher. He's been one of the most productive and well received artists in the 80s and 90s and has just made a return to music and stage in these years. Many things are different, and you will get to know Bernd's opinions and impressions on these changes as well as interesting insights and information on his upcoming symposia on November 27 and December 4.

To the end of the year in volume 2 we visit the darker and more experimental areas of electronic music. Especially well suited to expand ones own fantastic mental worlds. Therefore, have a wonderful nightly fun with this episode and tracks by Apectee, Bernhard Wöstheinrich, Gliese 614, Martin Lowack, Nunun, and We are Creosote.

It's the time of the year again, where many people celebrate the religious happening named christmas and the step over into another year. As in the past two years, syndae has a special episode on christmas, presenting own compositions and interpretations of seasonal songs by EM artists especially composed or selected for this show. This time, an episode in two editions. Having about one hour music in the family edition, which surely is a nice play for a contemplative time with family and friends. Accompanied by a mature edition of more than 30 minutes, obviously not to be given to those of sensitive nature. Overall, a lot of exceptional tracks kindly contributed by Alien Nature, Brainwork, Erik Seifert, F.D.Project, Gert Emmens & Cadenced Haven, Glenn Main, Guido Negraszus, Intelligentsia, Mari Aura (by Xenoton), Matzumi, moonbooter, Nadim Haque, Paul Nagle, Rüdiger Gleisberg, Synth.nl, The Great Schizm, and TMA.

Happy 2011 everybody! As a startup to this year, a tiny focus on the upcoming Schallwelle awards and this year's winner of the lifework's prize, Klaus Schulze. The Schallwelle is the German award for electronic music and will be given in 6 categories. Moreover, it's open for voting to the public, so cast your votes now. Complementary to Klaus, two tracks by admirers of the 70s close tonight's show, composed and produced one by Arroniz and Joost Egelie each.

It's early 2011, and we take a look back at 2010. One of the most successful and impressive EM festivals in Germany has been the Electronic Circus of last year. Great artists, great atmosphere, and lots of fun. This two volume episode gives you excerpts of live recordings as well as of the just released interviews done at the Circus. Of course, lots of music, and in volume one you will get tracks by Computerchemist, Deep Imagination, Harald Grosskopf & Udo Hanten, MorPheuSz, and Nattefrost.

Continuing with re-viewing the Electronic Circus. In volume 2 of this episode we take a listen to the main act of 2010, Spyra & Lang, with two temendous tracks. But also get to know about a label and artists new to the Circus, and new to Germany, with Mirai from England and Glenn from Norway.

Fluent grooves in rhythm and bass, unwinding patterns that get you moving. On tonight's episode, you will get a continuous driving atmosphere, hopefully helpful to wind down from the weeks exhaustion. Marvellous dubby tracks on this show by Das Kraftfuttermischwerk, EugeneKha, MetanoiaX, Para, and Taschenrechnermusikant.
