. . . ready for update.

I get this error every time it powers up. I can't find anything in the manual for trouble shooting. I dwl'd newest update from site, updated, still have error.

any suggestions?

Hmm .. odd .. as if it goes into update mode ... I'm not sure what the display on the keys version should show in that case ... but anyway .. it seems highly unlikely that both the store and performance buttons are stuck ... for the engine there is a litlle hidden key to bring the synth into update mode ... probably that input is present on the keys version as well .. and maybe even the switch is there .. that one could be stuck maybe?

Manual pages 53 and 140 will show where the button is on the engine.

He's talking about the nord stage, not the modular. Wrong forum for this question..
