Subject description: shell generator not working properly
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

Hey guys,

i am new to this forum (Hello! Smile ) and looking for help with the bass++
module. The impact generator is working fine but the shell generator does not work as it is supposed to be. It sounds dull, is significantly quieter and does not really respond to the pitch, range or sweep pot.

I built that thing on verboard, double checked every joint and every part and swapped the LM13700. Now is the time that i dont know what to do next, thus im here and aks for any advice. May one of you knows a common mistake or error i could have made...

Thank you,
Alex

Problem solved after many hours. It was a dumb mistake, a bridge at the ic socket between pin 7 and 8 of LM37000. It destroyed the buffer input and rendered the IC particularly useless but still produced some sort of sound...

well...just in case you´re interested Smile
