When you look down at your pedal board what you are seeing is really the building blocks of a modular synthesizer.

In this episode I explore ways to turn your guitar into an analog synth.

Really nice job Bill! Switched On Bach was the album that got me interested in synths to begin with.

Question - before the S.O.B. sample - what were you using to make the pad sound?

Thanks Dave!
The pad sound was produced using a freeze pedal and a Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai.
I froze one chord looped it and then changed the pitch of the chord with the delay knob.
Then looped the original cord again against the re-pitched chord. It wound up making a huge cluster of notes or a giant chord.
