Barring any unlikely technical snafu, I want to do an arrangement of Art Cohen and Steve Bowman's Crater Dust in Just Intonation. When Steve, Richard Lainhart, Mel Morley and I performed it at electro-music 2010, I thought that a Just arrangement would be interesting. Plan is to feed it through some Applied Acoustics Physical Model Softsynths, which means I've got some programming to do. If that fails I'll do something else. But, to quote Young Frankenstein, "It *should* work!" _________________ When the stream is deep

Nice poster!
Maybe this may seem a bit silly, but I have one comment though: "This event is open to all members of electro-music.com. Membership is required" might imply (to dumb people like me) that you can't listen unless you're a member, which isn't required (anyone can tune into radio.electro-music.com). I'd hate to lose one or two listeners just because they didn't realise this - could you change the text so it's crystal clear that the membership requirement is about performing, not listening? Also, maybe, add something like "free" membership so people don't think there's a $100 club fee or something...
I kind of like the playground-without-a-fence nature of electro-music.com, it would be nice if that shows in flyers like these.

Thanks for the feedback. That's a good point. I am using what is in the post here. I believe this is mainly to get people to sign up until 12/10. At which point the poster will be updated with the schedule of performers. Shane can clarify here I as am just the designer. _________________ Jack Hertz.com | Aural Films |

Shane and everyone, I am going to try to be able to do it this year, and think I have enough warning to do so. I would prefer an earlier slot just because I don't know what my evening will be like; I want to be done by 4 AM GMT (9 PM MST) so I can watch the ball drop with my kids...
More later, and here's to a fun concert!

Last year, I sent them to the main page link to listen. A few did tell me, they got tied up in registering. They saw the forum, thought you needed too register. This year I was going to make a note to the places I post the poster too the very same thing, you can listen with out joining. If the poster had that info there, I think that might clear things up a bit.
Another item, I notice the radio is going very well. Plenty to be found there. Kudos to all who keep it alive ! It also makes it a bit easier for those who might want to tune in ahead of time to know, this is the place to listen. If some "spots" could be announced in the stream of the event we might get more or remind those, this will happen.

That was my first reaction too .. but I could not find any traces of it happening for 06-07 ... have no recordings and could not find a forum post on it. But could find a later post by Howard in which he said that we may have skipped that year. _________________ Jan

Yes, I think we did it 05/06, like a one-time thing. We didn't do it 06/07, but then it started up 07/08. _________________ Antimon's Window
