Question about Electro IIIs MIDI-Functionality |
|
|
Hi, fellow Electro (& Stage) users!
I want to ask a question about the Midi-Functionality of the Electro III.
Currently I'm a proud user of a NordStage classic, I'm playing its organ section with a second, simple Organ Keyboard on top of the NS via Midi on stage.
But I want samples too
As I can't afford a Nord Wave and certainly no Nord Stage 2, I thought about buying an Electro III to replace my Organ Keyboard.
A great combination, for sure, but is it possible to fire up E3-samples via Midi with the Stage while playing Organ simultaneously?
As I know, the Electro III admits playing the piano-/sample-module or the organ-module on its own keyboard.
Is there a way to trigger the sample-module via Midi (from the Stage) without loosing Organ-functionality?
I don't care which organ module gives the sound, so I see two alternatives:
1. Stage triggers the Electros Sample-/Piano-Module (maybe in a split zone on the Stage), while playing the Stage's Organ via Midi-out on the E3s keyboard on top (as before with the Organ keyboard) - maybe it helps to set local-off on the electro?
2. NS triggers Electros Sample module while playing the Electros' Organ directly on the upper keyboard.
Do you see any way to make this happen?
Thanks for your hints & tips, hoping this is the right sub-forum ...
Best regards,
