Timing inside a Synth?

Hello everyone!

I'm a SC noob (just a few days worth of experience) and I was wondering if someone could help me.

I wanted to write a synth that would simply take two audio files (say A and B) and play immediately A upon triggering and B after a certain x amount of seconds later. (A ...(x seconds) ...B).

I got to the part where I'm able to load the two samples and play them, but only simultaneously...

SuperCollider is amazing, but timing is definitely the part I'm finding most difficult to grasp....
