im trying to make an analogue style sequncer on my g2, mostly for pads. but it doesnt sound right. the sequencers on the top are note and triggers and the ones on the bottom are supposed to be for the note length. doesnt seem to work that way(i was trying to have the bottom notes trigger the length of the note by using a envelope mod), so im wondering if anyone has any tips to make this thing right?

I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but if you want one row of the sequencer to control the duration of each step, then use an LFO for the clock oscillator and use the bottom row to control the pitch of the LFO.
