Hi,

I just wanted to share some info with everyone about this product.

The StreetSweeper is a new phaser pedal that is controlled like a wah-wah pedal. There is no LFO on board.

The pedal is designed and hand-built in Raleigh NC by a good friend of mine, Yontz Sucre, and is sold through BEZ FX at http://www.bezfx.com/

Here's what Chris at BEZ told me about the product:

Quote:
1) The Street Sweeper retails for $250 (shipping included CONUS)
HOWEVER, the first run we are offering at $200 (shipped conus) and we still have 17 first run discounts left!

2) We attempt to keep things simple, there are two controls however on the Sweeper. There is a knob which controls the intensity of the effect (7-12 is tame, 12-3 is juicy, 3-5 is.. experimental Smile and there is a switch which reverses the direction of the sweep, so you can either engage the effect at the bottom or the top.

The Street Sweeper is a Dedicated Manual Phaser, so the phase tone has been perfected to specifically function/be useful in a manual mode. To this end it is an exaggerated voicing which does not translate to an LFO mode in a musical way.
The Street Sweeper has been designed to be used as a tool, and a layer in your sound, not as a set it/forget it phaser Smile

3) We're making each one as orders are placed.

4) Our email address is 'chris@bezfx.com' - our website is located at http://www.bezfx.com/

There are some demo videos on the website if anyone is interested.

I know there is always some hesitancy when dealing with a new company, but I've known Yontz for years - he's probably the premier guitar/amp repair guy in the Raleigh area. When I wanted my Mesa Boogie amp modified, I took it to him, and he made it sing. I can recommend his work and his honesty very highly...

Gary
