Nord Modular Classic Rack Mount Ears Subject description: In search of... |
|
|
Hi all, stumbled across this forum and thought maybe on the off chance i might get an answer to my problem here.
I'm looking for some replacement rack mount ears for my nord modular classic (actually only one, i have one but the other's lost!).
i've been in touch with nord's UK distributor to no success and they told me they tried the manufacturers for me..
any help on this would be greatly appreciated before i go and buy some ears for the slim phatty and drill new holes into the side of my nord!!
thanks in advance,

I don't have any to sell, but I could take some measurements of my rack ears, and some pictures. If you know someone who does metal work, you could probably have a pair made relatively cheaply. _________________ Free Tibet. Release the Panchen Lama from prison. Thanks for the offer cappy, but i do have one still so i could go down that route anyway. no need to put yourself out for me.
if it comes to that i could use the one i have for a template. certainly something i'll look into if i don't get any joy down other avenues first.
thanks again though! |

Just another option for mounting the NM1 in a rack - I have mine mounted on a rackmounted pull-out shelf instead of mounting it flush with the rack using the rack ears. I found that I prefer keeping the knobs at an angle a la desktop orientation. Works great, and no need for rack ears. _________________ Dave Peck |
