just thought i'd share .. after i build a s/h now i must have a noise source i've tried a simpler schematic but it was clipping something maybe the transistor was too loud i chose the highest hfe .. later i read in a post that i should have choose the lowest one .. so i'm gonna try this circuit .. like that .. this is the noise circuit from the EFM wildcat .. the transistors are 2n3904

You can try that Sample and Hold i posted here in this section .. the one from Osamu Hoshuyama is very simple but i like it a lot .. i'm thinking on making 2 -3 more of those ..

is there just that one trace to cut . i guess there is also under the chip , never built on strip board before

hi logic .. yes under the chip those 4 are cut i should have posted a layout with the copper side too maybe .and now i see a mistake i made ..that 10uF electrolitic capacitor should have cut trace underneath too .the schematic is in this pdf ..should not be complicated i hope http://www.modular.fonik.de/files/EFMforum/orgEFMfiles/wildcat_001.pdf
