Thanks Shane !!!
You know the drill, please keep Neorev, Kid vs. Chem, and State Machine one contingous performance time. If I can keep my old port, 8096, that would be cool but no big deal.
Thanks brother !

Spring Equinox 2013–Waiting List Subject description: Would like to be on waiting list; anytime is good |
|
|
Sorry I missed the openings.
But I would like to be on the waiting list.
Really been getting into this recently.
It's like an old love affair rekindled.
I'm flexible as to time, so any time slot is okay with me. I'm free the entire time.
And even if I don't make this gig, I would like to do some streaming on the station later on.
1.Preferred Start Time: Anytime is fine with me
2.Artist Name: Stephen Vale (aka "Rabbi Steve the Storyteller")
3.Location: Vacaville, California, USA
4.Electro-Music.com Username: Synthrabbi
5.Description: Diverse, but tending towards so-called "Space Music", ambient & Avant-garde.
As we all are, I'm influenced a lot by what I listen to: most especially Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno, Jon Hassell, Wendy Carlos, and many others.
I'll be using Korg analog Mono-line synthesizers (Most especially my modified Korg Monotribe, courtesy of Mark, aka "Infrablue". Which is how I found this Forum in the first place) ENSONIQ ESQ 1 (my old standby), EOwave Ribbon (Onboard lo-fi synth, as well as MIDI controller) & iPad & iPhone (With various Audiobus chains, and some of my old friend Jordan Rudess's cool generative music apps, such as SpaceWiz. BTW: I am the guy who gave him his first synthesizer, Albeit, it was a loaner rented from Sam Ash music in New York. An old Moog Sonic Six, Rented for a high school experimental multimedia stage show that I wrote and produced, and for which I "commissioned" class-mate Jordan to be one of the improvising musicians and our main keyboard player. True story), possibly some Japanese shakuhachi flutes (Drenched in delay & reverb, natch), vocal & percussion.
Been practicing a lot with and for live gigs, as well as for meeting the RPM Challenge. And even though I didn't make the noon deadline, I did finish the album. Up on my SoundCloud page "RabbiSteve".
And in any case, I'm really looking forward to sitting back and listening to a lot of this. Should be a real treat.
So thanks a lot for doing it. |

The Spring Equinox is in Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. So, in order to comply more with the ethos of electro-music.com of being inclusive, I suggest we call this program the March Equinox Live Concert Program. That way there is no hemispheric bias. It's March everywhere on Earth.

Sometimes people don't show up or have technical difficulties which means a slot will be
availble. And besides that, it can be a fun place to hang out, meet the artists, talk about the weather . |
It absolutely is!
Really looking forward to the event. If the Aussies don't mind, I'm going to make my set 'springy' _________________ Weblog! |

Unable to perform |
|
|
Sadly, I will not be able to perform on the Equinox Live concert.
I've been quite ill and was in the hospital. I'm on the mend but it's highly unlikely I will be fully recovered by the 23rd.
