I need to generate a very short trigger (as short as possible) impulse from an gate signal.
How can I accomplish this? Are there any modules?

Background is that I (for example) wanna retrigger an LFO when a note is pressed on an Doepfer Ms404 / A100 modular system.

Thanks!!!

I don't know of any modules out there, but I do know a DIY solution. It is a real simple project from Ken Stone (CGS) and fits the purpose perfectly Very Happy

Oops I forgot. Embarassed
Indeed he seems to have problems shipping to Germany from Australia. If you could wait a little longer, I could order one (or a few) of those boards with my next pcb order at CGS.
But this project is pretty easy, so should be doable on stripboard. Cool

Cheers,
Woody

I need to do just the opposite. I need to go from a short 3ms 5v pulse to a longer pulse of at least 10ms 5v. What would be great is a simple circuit that will take the short trigger and regenerate a new pulse that can be pulse width adjusted with a pot anywhwere from 10ms to maybe 1 second.

Any ideas or suggestions?
