CLEF MASTER RHYTHM.

I can enter patterns..
However, it appears to let me enter a pattern, but on playback, there is a large "gap" at the end before the pattern repeats.

Does anyone here have any documentation on this machine? They were sold as kits AND pre-built.

EKOSYNTH P15.

This refused to play anything, although I could hear the LFO modulation..
Last night it decided to work, on all presets except the ones with "BASS" in the name. Any ideas?

Again, I have virtually NO documentation. ANYTHING would be helpful!

If my memory serves me right, the Clef was a bit like the Boss DR-55. Could the "gap" be an empty part B part of the pattern? (bear in mind that the Boss and the Clef (?) could program a maximum of 2 measures in one pattern.

I imagine if thats the case u will need 2 find the part b switch- flick it and program another 16 beat pattern- or alternatively, turn part b off.

As for you EKO- if it dosen't work, I think you either have to fault find it of confine it to the scrapheap. These old Italian synths were of really poor quality. My advice would be to break it up (if you cant find the problem) and use the parts to build a SoundLab Very Happy

Hope that helps Smile

Curiously, the EKO has (sort-of) burst back into life of it's own accord!
I left it plugged in to the mains, but switched off, for a couple of weeks.
I then switched it on, and presto, all the presets EXCEPT the ones with the word "BASS" in them now work.
I suspect there is a "bass" oscillator still not working.

Sound-wise, it's best described as weird. The tremolo and Wah-wah are extreme, to say the least..

I suspect I will be selling this (after having a go at fixing the bass..), as I'm standardising on Korg Virtual analogue gear.

sounds 2 me that you've got a load of dry joints and very dirt switches/ pots etc.

It may be more grief than its worth!-especially if you can't get substitutes for the pots/ switches

However, it WAS a pile of crap. Looking back, I should have broken it up for parts instead of selling it on as a project. I would have made more of a profit.
