Finally finished this thing, well mostly finished. This is my noisetendo, it's a simple 555 timer noisemaker riding on the back of an original nintendo game controller. I wanted to use the pads but didn't want to solder wires directly to the actual pad points on the board, so I used the pins in the little chip on the board. this proved pretty annoying, I only got three pads to play individual tones, but, it still works and is pretty fun to play. you can see a video of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P44nz_BI6Sw

if you make your own, please post some new tips! there's tons of mods to these controllers, but none of them are musical instruments.
