Don't know why it was removed, looks like an interesting project. I did a little digging and found:

I've coincidentally been playing with a nintendo ds touch screen interface (not the screen itself, just the resistive touch element) and this has given me some ideas. Perhaps combining it somehow with an 8x8 LED scope?[/url]
